Babygirl Or Baby Girl?
The topic might confuse you as you might wonder what exactly am I talking about. Let me clear that out for you. I am talking about the acceptance of a baby girl in the family. So in India and also in a few other countries, a baby girl is not accepted to the family members, mostly to the men of the family. Why so?
Isn't she as human as all of us? Or is she any different? I know babies are called little devils but that doesn't really make them the devil does it? A few reasons as to why a baby girl in India is not accepted is because people think of her as a burden, a "responsibility". She is considered a burden because the family has to pay for her marriage and education? Okay so let's get this straight, a boy can marry and get an education but a girl cant? I know nowadays we all have become modern and the importance of girls has risen significantly but there are still some backward classes and less open-minded people who yet keep their girls/ladies in the house.
It has happened so often that a baby girl is found in the trash can near the railway station or airports or public restrooms. Is it a joke? She's a person, not a toy or trash that can be thrown according to your wish. A month-old girl child was found dumped near a drain in northwest Delhi's Bhalaswa Dairy area and the parents were missing. Two female children, aged one and two, were found abandoned at a platform of Muzaffarnagar railway station. Last year, the Times of India reported that nine-in-ten of the 11 million abandoned children in India were girls. I am so very disgusted by this news.
I'm guessing all of you'll have seen the movie "Dangal"? In that movie the father wanted a baby boy to fulfil his dream of winning a gold medal but he consecutively got two baby girls. The mother literally apologises that she couldn't give birth to boys instead of girls. My point here is that in that movie the girls were recognised and their potential was acknowledged and admired. Did you know in India it is banned to know the gender of the baby while still in mothers womb? Because if some parents come to know its a girl, they kill her before the baby even enters this beautiful world.
The title Babygirl Or Baby girl is to show that some babies are considered by parents their "cute little babygirls" but then some just consider them a toy and throw and abandon them.
It is my sincere request that please spread this article as much as possible it is regarding a very important topic.

It's easy to love when the world doesn't hate ya
When you tryna send out but nobody hears a word
It's easy to swim when the tide's not against ya"
